Retail is a world of discretion, and private equity’s appetite for this space moves like the wind. Yet we wake up every morning to push forward, not because we believe in a better tomorrow, but because we believe in a different future. Founding a company is not a career choice; it is an expression of what we see ahead. We are not afraid to fail as long as we learn and evolve with speed and humility. I would rather fail spectacularly than live with the regret of not trying. Life happens only once, and time moves faster than we can imagine. Not every day do I feel that chemistry, but when I do, I jump in. I get rejected. I jump in again.

Capitalism itself ensures the quest for better user experience and higher profitability will never stop, and therefore, our work will always matter. We help reduce returns and waste, which is why I often say we are, at heart, a sustainable climate technology company.
Apple serves the world through a vertically integrated system. Android serves it through openness. By numbers, Android has multiplied its presence many times over Apple. In the same way, I believe retail has no single blueprint. Fashion is emotional, an art form, a language of self. Freedom of expression is vital for every brand to connect deeply with its audience. That is why I believe the open model will prevail. There will be many ways to define fit, and fit itself is emotional and subjective. We should empower every brand to choose its own path — through questionnaires, comparisons, face scans, or full body scans. The platform that enables this freedom, that owns the ecosystem of choice, will ultimately win.
When capital meets talent, and when both align with the right timing and an ultra high TAM, an enormous vehicle is created. Capital follows scale, and scale follows status. The difference between being first or forgotten is time. Whoever scales first will win, and by the law of binaries, the rest will not. Merging is often the fastest way to reach scale. The Mag 7 continue to roll up the world around them. It would be foolish for startups to keep fighting for crumbs.
At the core, we are a team of engineers playing the extreme sports to build products that feel almost unreal in their elegance and power. We earn through licensing so we can fund our next creation. We do little marketing because we believe in the quiet strength of product led growth and the honesty of word of mouth.
